Great store! Helpful employees. Wish they carried more fabric.

The service I received was outstanding!! Stacey and Meg really helped us with the balloons for my kiddos birthday!! If I could give them 100 star I would!

I went into Michael’s yesterday to shop for a Shipt order for a customer. I got everything I could find in the store and I could not find three items. They were not on the aisle that the app said they were, and I even looked in all the aisles around them and could not find them. I decided I would ask an employee. Once he found out that I was shopping for Shipt, he said there was nothing they could do for me. He wouldn’t even help me find them or try to find them in the back. I brought it to the attention of the manager and she said that he misunderstood me. Then she was like well I can’t help you find everything but I can help you find a couple order items. I just refunded the items and checked out. The customer service at this store is severely lacking. Just because I was shopping an order for someone else doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be treated with respect as a customer. They have lost all my business. In all my years that I’ve worked retail, I never would have treated customers this way. It was highly unprofessional. The store was also a complete mess.

Michael's is a great craft store! There were many finds here, although I do loathe the lack of a fabric section. The employees were friendly enough without being overbearing. The cake decorating aisle was a blast, there were so many things to see and drool over :)
